Geneva, July 12, 2023 – Swiss Haute Horlogerie manufacturer Vacheron Constantin presents the new Overseas Quartz from the Overseas collection, embracing again its feminine side in 18K 5N pink gold, featuring a translucent denim blue lacquered dial. The signature six-sided bezel is elegantly adorned with “brilliant”-cut diamonds, lighting up the path of the hands and the date appearing at 3 o’clock. 

The new Overseas 33 mm model in 18K 5N pink gold offers a delightful blend of femininity, dainty charm and sportiness with denim-blue-colored dial and straps. The six-sided bezel of this model, shaped in a manner reminiscent of Vacheron Constantin’s emblematic Maltese cross, is adorned with 78 “brilliant”- cut diamonds. The sunburst satin-brushed lacquered dial makes a pleasing contrast with the facetted luminescent hands and hour-markers and velvet-finished external minutes track. The allure of this practical and eminently legible model is enhanced by the taut lines of its case water-resistant to 5 bar (approx. 50 metres), flowing into a strap that can be easily changed according to its wearer’s wishes.

Vacheron Constantin and China 

The long-lasting history between Vacheron Constantin and China could date back to 1845. Since then, the splendid Chinese culture has been continuously 
providing Vacheron Constantin with inspirations, enriching the Maison’s broad perspective of the world. Since 2012, Métiers d'Art the Legend of the Chinese Zodiac has been smartly integrating Chinese paper-cut art and Swiss silhouette art to create a collection of zodiac masterpieces; in 2022, the Égérie China Limited Edition paid tribute to the classic design of Chinese classical attire, meanwhile elegantly interpreted the beauty of Chinese women, combining modern and traditional inspirations. This year, Vacheron Constantin debuts the Overseas Quartz in China, portraying the elegance and versatility of the sophisticated Chinese female connoisseurs.

Suitable for all wrists with its 33 mm diameter, this model evolves as the day goes by thanks to its interchangeable straps, based on the interchangeability concept launched in 2016. The watch thus opts for a personalized approach by affording the possibility of being worn on a denim blue calf skin leather strap or rubber strap – and all entirely tool-free! 

To place the focus firmly on functionality, this watch carries the hours and minutes hands, central seconds, all highlighted with blue Super-Luminova®, and a date window at 3 o’clock all within its dainty diameter.
